1957 Royal Enfield Clipper/ bullet · Driven 2, 900 kilometres
Royal enfield 500cc clipper/ bullet . bike started life in 1957 as a 350cc clipper failed project (see picture) all verified by enfield owners club i have the paperwork back in 2016 a New 500cc engine was purchased stripped down and english ring cams and followers were fitted along with pushroads and boyer ignition and uprated clutch . new switches etc
Then registered with dvla as a 500cc as historic . in 2019 it was ridden from uk to france to compete in the 4 heures de valmont vintage time trial and won gold medal (see pictures.. and it's on you tube)I've owned bike few years now going out on weekends starts first or second kick and it's in great condition with only 2900 miles i have 2 different seats for it Hitchcock's scrambler type seat and long range one I did have single sprung but found it to hard so sold it . I actually sold it a while back then 2 years later after hunting high and low found it in north Wales and bought it back it is such a good bike but now due to knee injury unfortunately has to go no rivet counters please !
