I have not long owned this Project XL250s. I fitted a new Gel 6v Battery, fresh fuel, turned the key, got neutral light and within a kick or three, it fired and started in to life ! The engine runs and gently revs well. I did not let it run for too long, about a minute, or so. As the exhaust is rusted through in two or three places. Front and rear brakes are not working, binding etc. Fuel tank is clean when viewed through hole. No Indicators Present.
I bought it thinking to refurbish, but reality has dawned on me , and after good thought, it needs an experienced person to restore it to the standard it deserves , which i really do not feel able or confident to do.
