Description
I have decided to sell my 1920 Rex Acme 1000 V-twin JAP. To my knowledge only four known survivours. I bought the bike a few years ago and rebuilt it completely. The engine got completely restored. The only thing that is not working at present is the exhaust valve lifter. I am only about 75 Kg so I can´t start it via kick start as the compression is too high. The bike starts with a starting machine. I only did a few rides down the street so the whole thing needs running in and some adjustment. The normal procedure after a complete restauration. Apart from a Boehmerland I would say that the Rex Acme is one of the longest bikes that ever were built. The electric system needs sorting and a dynamo has to be sourced. I could not find a nice one in Germany. So this is a chance to buy one of the rarest bikes availiable. My Rex Acme is located in nortehrn Germany and can be delivered to England this week as I am doing a short trip via Harwich to the Birmingham area. For further questions drop me a note
