I’m the 4th owner of this UK bike. A “W” reg low mileage, matching numbers RD350lc.
I acquired it as a non runner in May 2006 with 16000 miles. A generator fault had put it off the road. I set about a total refurb just because you do. Powder coated the frame and had the body work painted by bike paints in Scotland.
The engine was fine and is still on the original bore and totally standard. At the time of rebuild I put new rings in it and left it at that. Still runs beautifully up to the red line when you want to.
It should be said that this is not an olive drab special as I’ve generally swapped anything corroding to stainless steel.
Great bike with great bones and ready to ride with recent fresh tyres.
