Description
Exceptional condition late-model Honda Civic Type R FN2 GT. Completely standard and original with a very low mileage, with consistent MoT history and service records.
New Bridgestone tyres on refurbished wheels, newly rebuilt front brake callipers with correct ‘Type R’ castings, hoses, pads and discs. New undertrays front to rear (over £1000’s worth) and includes French Crit’Air sticker for entry into French towns. Ulez compliant in the UK.
Proper servicing and maintenance, much loved and waxed, and kept in a garage. This is a time-warp car, one of the last examples of this remarkable naturally-aspirated engine.
The body work is straight with the smallest of dings in the driver's door and a slight scuff on the lower valance, but that's it.
The cabin is just as it was when it rolled out of the works at Swindon, unmarked and clean as a whistle. The Recaro seats are clean and unblemished, and are protected with specially bespoke covers. Even the carpets are unmarked and the rear boot space has a genuine Honda rubber mat.
It steers, rides and drives as if brand new. Rust-free and leak free body.
A very special motor car. Apart from the appropriate registration plate (Buzz!), this car is an increasingly rare thing, an unmolested and low mileage example of the last run out for the 2. 0-liter naturally aspirated K20Z4 i-VTEC inline-four engine producing 198bhp @ 7, 800rpm and 142lb ft of torque.
It feels as tight and right as the day it first started.
I'm the fourth owner and bought it in May 2023. I've spent a bit of money on bringing it up to spec including those undertrays and a complete front brake overhaul.
I'm selling because I have lost the use of a company car and now have to travel at my own expense and it would be a huge shame to simply pile miles on to Buzz.
