Description
1958 DBD34 CATALINA SCRAMBLER.
One of the first batch of B34 Catalina Scramblers to be produced and one of the first 4 dispatched to Hap Alzena (West coast) on the 20th of November 1958 (first consignment with the "C" frame prefix).
This machine has matching factory frame and engine numbers, which has been confirmed by the VMCC with certificate, it is also on the Gold Star Owners Club regester. It's been restored over the past few years and travelled from house to house with me, finally registered it for the road in January 2022 I would think that its
covered around 500miles in that time, hard to be exact as it only has a rev counter and no speedo! It runs and rides well the engine is strong, it has the correct S. c. t gearbox which i assume is the one it left the factory with, it also is fitted with a new B. T. H. magneto which makes starting a doddle, it Sounds Awesome with the straight through pipe, a real piece of British iron and very rare.
