Great opportunity to buy an entry level Plus 4. I bought this lovely Plus 4 2 years ago from the previous owner who had owned it for 17 years, however, due to health problems he had only covered 4000 miles between 2017 - 23. This T16 engined Plus 4 was in good running order but in need of some TLC and upgrades, but nothing daunting. Whilst it has an impressive history file, it's what I've done in the last 2 years that is probably most relevant. The list is - wings off bear metal respray and underseal treatment, uprated MULFAB 4 pot front brakes and steering stabilisers, MULFAB steering damper, full service, original factory fitted chrome wire wheels which I've had proffesionally blasted, powder coated and finished in chrome/ grey paint with top coat lacquer also, new (all season) tyres all round. Those of you who haven't discovered all season tyres, they are the cheapest and most effective way of getting a smoother/ safer ride, I have them fitted on all my cars. New original Morgan part s/ s catalytic converter (£1000!) and silencer box. I've done around 2000 miles this year and she runs perfectly although I would add a Librands manifold and panhard rod to complete the modifications. The other attractive addition is the Blumels Brooklands steering wheel. Bought this off a friend who had it on his Plus 8 (too small) and then found the last (original Morgan part) boss adaptor from Morgan parts. Reason for selling is that I have found my 1974 MG Midget which I bought in 1978 and sold in 1982 to fund my college fees. After 43 years it's turned up after a little research and I have the opportunity to buy it back. I bought the Morgan for £16k and have spent about £5k getting it back to a usable head turning classic it is. Just a little noise from the thrust bearing when manoeuvring between 1st and reverse, but my classic garage says the clutch has good bite and sometimes, thrust bearings can whine a little through lack of use and it's not noticeable between gear changes. I've priced to sell as the classic market is poor at the moment. Any enquiry, viewing or test is welcome, looking under the car is available at my classic garage near Stafford. After 2 years getting the car looking and driving as I want it, I'm not keen to sell but I don't want to lose the opportunity of buying my Midget back. By the way, also has digital radio/ phone connection so satnav via phone.
