1967 Toyota Corona RT-40 1500cc manual 4-speed gearbox, all original first registered on 4th August 1967 in Solar red, with red vinyl interior and cream roof lining. Mileage under 6, 000 miles with new exhaust, and front brake shoes, and all chrome also recently done. The car is in lovely condition inside and out engine bay as clean as the bodywork. Underneath clean and free of rust, could easily sit in a showroom or private collection full and complete history with all old MOT’s Old log book, old Tax discs, service history, service books, two sets of keys, spare wheel, original tool kit & wheel brace and jack and a comprehensive set of parts like a full service kit, with full gasket set, seat belts radio x 2 electric aerial, water pump etc.
This model was the first Toyota model to come out of Japan into Europe and the UK it is an historic car and could easily sit in a museum, or a private collection or in the showroom of a Toyota dealership. There are just two registered Toyota Corona RT-40’s in the UK the other one is owned by Toyota GB and kept at their headquarters in Epsom, Surrey, if interested, all details can be forwarded, with many photos, and any questions answered, hardened valves were fitted so no need to put a petrol additive in, the car is priced to sell and is fair reflection of its condition and rarity, however a deal can always be done, as I’m looking for a Silver Shadow ready to drive away. This is a rare car of only one RT-40 currently on the road in the UK it comes with a full history file, all MOT's going back to the first in 1970 all old tax discs, I have the original sales receipt when it was sold at two years old, I have two sets of keys, old Log book V5 in my name and lots of other documents. This is a fixed price as I've just reduced the price to the lowest I will go to sell unless you want to exchange for a Silver Shadow.
