A very clean Kawasaki KH400 painted as an S3 now with age related 'N' plate to match the bike. Not a show pony but a very original UK bike with a low mileage that I believe to be correct, that I ride most weeks. It has had a full restoration in 2017 with receipts. I have recently spoken to the restorer and he remembers the bike well.
I have owned this bike since early 2022 and it has been used weekly and has never missed a beat.
It was MOT'ed in 2022 when I changed the plate, and has since then had regular servicing, most recently a full service in May 2024, when the forks & head bearings were rebuilt, as well as an oil & check service in 2025.
Stored in a heated garage and never used in the wet or on salt roads.
Located in Surrey close to Purley/ Croydon, this bike is ready to ride and shows extremely well considering it's now nearly 50 years old.
It has a few small scrapes on the original exhausts, and a chip on one of the fins. I have replaced the fuel tap recently, but have the original with a rebuild kit with the bike.
Not the most powerful triple, but the best balanced with the benefit of the KH electronic ignition.
