Buick Super Sedanette 1949 – by Ola Thorslund, Sweden
This 1949 Buick Super Sedanette comes in an incredibly stylish and refined execution!
Mildly customized and masterfully built by Swedish metal artisan Ola Thorslund / Olas Garage (check out his builds on Facebook). Ola is known for his exceptional attention to detail, and the results truly speak for themselves.
This particular build features:
Roof chopped approx. 2. 5 inches. Modified trunk and rear fenders with relocated taillights. Hidden fuel filler. Custom-built fender skirts. Debadged for a clean, smooth look. Brand new, tinted and hardened glass. Complete new interior – upholstery, door panels, headliner, and carpets. 4-way air suspension with level sensors, hidden tank and compressor. Completely new electrical system. Straight 8-cylinder engine mated to a 350 automatic transmission, rear axle from a 1980s Buick. Converted original Sonomatic radio – vintage look, modern function. Modified hubcaps from a 1949 Cadillac. Whitewall tires. Roll-down rear windows. Seat belts added for safety
This is a very well-built car, with an impressive amount of time, effort, and cost invested to achieve this stunning result.
All modifications have been made with one clear goal in mind: To resemble the Buick Sedanette that Buick should have built in 1949.
