Description
This is my 1970 Husqvarna 360 cross 8 speed, I bought this about a year ago, vintage off roaders aren’t really my thing but I got this to do a specific vintage event in the isle of man later on in the year, there’s a 50th anniversary of the ISDT on the island and I was going to take this, we now can’t go so I’m selling. If you’ve got this far you probably know what you’re looking at. These bikes are the stuff of legend, just watch “ On any Sunday” This is a big bore piston ported open class motocross bike from the golden age, it’s fast, aggressive and very loud, it’s the rare 8 speed version, I believe aimed at the high speed desert races.
Imported from Las Vagas early last year I bought it as a strong running bike, I’ve just been through it and made sure everything is ok ready for the island, I have also road registered the bike, it is a historic vehicle so exempt from tax and MOT. It rides well, I do actually ride this on the road, it’s insured and taxed, it’s great fun the engine is quiet and strong , it goes like the flippin clappers. The engine and frame numbers are correct. It starts easily and runs very nicely, the brakes are good as is the gearbox in both ratios, it all works very well indeed. As you can see the bike is very original, unrestored and all the better for it in my opinion, it wears it’s battle scars well, and is in very good condition, the 8 speed is a particularly rare bike, come and have a look by all means, feel free to ask questions. Happy to listen to offers
