Description
Fantastic original matching number example. My car since 2005. Always had everything done that needed doing. Recent service including engine and gearbox oil change, front brake pads spark plugs and air filter. Original interior in excellent condition. Very tidy underneath, with corrosion dealt with in 2019. Original red paint was looking tired. Now looks fabulous after respray.
Large history file including all early MOT’s and dealer service records bills etc.
A real head turner.
Ready to drive away.
Recently driven to PistonHeads Annual Service at Bicester and featured on stage with Smith and Sniff. Built in limited numbers as a homologation special, extras are limited to keep the weight down. No power steering and a brake pedal you need to push, this is a fantastic and rewarding car to drive!
Hagerty considers the Peugeot 106 to be great value compared with some of its rivals. A Series 1 106 Rallye in 'excellent' condition, is listed in the Hagerty Price Guide at around 45 per cent less than the very collectable 205 GTI 1. 9. Originality is critical, but with their homologation credentials, limited numbers, and instantly recognisable looks, these cars tick many of the requirements of a collectable car.
“Peugeot’s pocket rocket comes from an impressive lineage of small and lively cars, and this one is an absolute gem.
Beautifully original, presented in stunning condition and as fun-to-drive as the 106 Rallye always was and will be, this one’s an absolute gem of a car.”
