This is the first generation of the fuel injected CBR so no worries about gummed up carbs. I have to say an amazing find in this condition & having rode it today to take photos & just put fresh oil & filter on I put her through her paces with the insane 14, 200 red line screaming, but then as docile as a 125 when in traffic - just perfect. The engine sounds like new & the gearbox is so so slick & effortless, you can see why they are so popular & the looks have aged so well - it really is a HONDA jewel in the crown

Back in 2014, the owner had his 2nd child & having 2 young children he put the CBR in his garage to concentrate on bringing his young children up with every intention of going back out on it ... BUT he never did! As time went by he lost his appetite & confidence & never rode it again sadly (just started it up & ran it up to temperature over the years). Eventually, he has decided to part with the bike & when I bought it he was genuinely very sad to see it go. So it had a new battery in May & I have just changed oil & filter & will put a new MOT on it for the new owner as it was last done in 2014 but will sale through. I have just undergone a thorough 13 hours of detailing to make it look like new again & I have to say it is a fabulous example. Obviously it is 20 years old & so there a couple of very very minor marks BUT overall as you can see from photos & video it's about as near to perfect as you will find anywhere. And so much bike for the same money as a Chinese scooter, that a discerning buyer should snap up. A piece of HONDA gold standard & the perfect bike for FUSSY owners!
