A very original Mini Clubman.
1100cc 4 speed
Just undergone a restoration. All Rust removed, new panels and new paint.
Resprayed in its original period champagne beige after an extensive body work restoration. Details can be seen in the pictures.
New window and door seals all round. The chrome and bumpers have all been polished or renewed so this mini really shines.
Inside the original interior has been refreshed with a new correct colour carpet to go with the original interior in golden brown. The only addition to the factory interior is, sensibly, rear seatbelts. This mini even has factory tinted glass.
The Electrics have been gone through and a new battery put in.
The Running gear has been refurbished with new tie bars, bushes, bump stops and ball joints.
Refurbished drum brakes with new shoes all round so stops like it should.
The engine runs great with very low miles - 33000 - just serviced and tuned with new filters, plugs, coolant and carburettor rebuild. New Exhaust.
The 4 speed gearbox is good with easy and precise gear changes.
Wheels refurbished and 4 new tyres. Still has its original British Leyland hub caps which are so retro cool
A couple of minor dents in the bumpers as you would expect of a 45 year old classic. But you have to get very close to see them.
A fun car to own and use. And great to just look at. Turns heads and gets positive comments where ever it goes. This mini is a real retro gem. Unmolested by modifications and additions. A great Mini, a beautiful example of its time that you can look and feel super retro cool enjoying today.
