In March 2020, Morgan unveiled the Plus Four, which succeeds the Plus 4 models. It retains its classic design but is equipped with power steering, a stiffer aluminium chassis, upgraded suspension, and most notably a 2. 0‑litre BMW turbocharged four‑cylinder engine delivering 255 hp, paired in our case with an eight‑speed automatic gearbox.
Rolling out of the Malvern factory in late 2020, our example presents an elegant specification with a host of options. Its British Racing Green colour pairs with a Bordeaux interior. It shows only 10, 800 km on the odometer.
Inside, the upholstery pairs with a matte natural ash dashboard and a central console in matte ash (Brown Velvet), and Bordeaux‑coloured woven carpets (Box Weave Oatmeal). It features a next‑generation steering wheel with a black finish and paddle shifts at the wheel. The seats are equipped with the Comfort Plus pack allowing the backrest to recline and lumbar support to be adjusted. Also present are the leather‑trimmed backrest, air conditioning, central locking and the Bluetooth audio system to complete this setup.
Externally, our Morgan is now protected by a clear protective film on the front end, the side steps and the rear wings. It is fitted with chromed wire wheels with an additional spare wheel, a two‑tier luggage rack, Union Jack flags, Cibié long‑range headlights, a chrome grille with a black honeycomb inner grille, orange indicator lamps, among other features.
