MOT 07/ 11/ 2026. Some recent service history from 146000 miles, over £1000 spent.
The very last of the true VOLVO XC70 AWD on a 05 plate. The original VOLVO D5 163Bhp engine with a 6 Speed Manual gearbox. Full SE Electric pack. Luxurious, Refined, economical, reliable with tinted glass. 159000 miles, so covered less than 8000 miles a year. I have replaced the Oil Pump, Water Pump, all new genuine Volvo seals. Timing belt kit, tensioner, pulleys, new Auxiliary belt. New air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, cabin filter. Fresh oil, new brake fluid and the all important Haldex pump service, stripped, cleaned, filter and fluid replaced. 5 engine mounts renewed and a new intercooler fitted. Over and above this the clutch pedal sensor has been replaced to sort out a faulty cruise control.
I have also replaced the headlight units (second hand) they have a bad habit of fogging over through time.
The car is now running as it did when it came out of the factory.
The Cross Country AWD D5 MANUAL Mk2 is becoming very rare. Cheaper Road Tax around £36/ Month. It also has a VOLVO detachable tow bar.
The interior of the car is clean and the leather is still in very good condition with limited damage, 2 small holes on a rear door card. The paintwork on the car is original, brilliant that there is no previous accident damage, BUT, there are scratches and or dinks on every panel. The worst is on the drivers wing metal and plastic, very noticeable, it fades but it goes along the side of the car leaving a scratch on the rear plastic arch.
As you can see from picture of V5 in my name, 6 owners, Non-transferable plate and NOT a Category car.
Check MOTCHECKHISTORY. gov to validate the mileage, the car is currently Taxed as it is in daily use. Unfortunately only 1 key.
