An immaculate low mileage W140 Coupe in Design Aquamarine Metallic Blue over a Beige Nappa Leather interior.
The car was ordered new by the original owner in 1997 and kept by her for nearly 20 years. The car is also fitted with all the factory options which all working, including an electric sunroof, soft close doors, electric seats, double glazing and 18" wheels.
This car has remained in my collection for several years and has been driven sparingly but maintained on a regular basis. It has only covered a mere 68000 miles, which is backed up by its service history that is provided with the car. It has a total of 5 service stamps in the service book, all from Mercedes main dealers and the rest of the servicing has been completed by specialists.
This is a lovely example of a CL500, with no rust or corrosion and a beautifully maintained interior. The body is virtually unmarked and original. As stated previously, all the electric functions operate smoothly, as they should. The interior wood trims still remain in a high gloss finish and there are no tears or rips in the leather.
Mechanically this car is very good and it provides an excellent driving experience, thanks to its 5. 0 litre V8 engine combined with the 5 speed automatic gearbox. The car pulls strongly and the ride is extremely smooth. The C140/ W140 generation of Mercedes is described to be as "over-engineered" and it introduced so many new innovations. The double glazed windows also allow for a peaceful and quiet ride.
I am personally selling this car to reduce my collection of cars and genuinely cannot fault this car. It is truly a great example of a CL500 that has been well looked after and treasured by myself and its previous owners.
