Description
One of a kind, unique motorcycle with great racing history!
Original 1924 Blackburne OHV 250cc engine tuned by the famous Lawrence Hartley. This exact engine held the pre-war class record at Brands Hatch. In the 1970's the engine was upgraded with a 350cc top end and built into this motorcycle. It was then raced very successfully in VMCC events.
It has a Sturmey Archer 3-speed gearbox fitted with Norton "dolls head". Along with an Amal track carburettor.
Converted from methanol to petrol, to make it more practical.
Recent engine rebuild including new crankshaft, conrod, bearings and chains. The motorcycle has been to many classic bike events. Including being displayed at Brooklands. It always gets lots of interest and positive comments.
