Description
Price reduced again. Need to sell! otherwise might be sleeping in the spare room!
For sale is my limited edition Mk1 Quattro sport, no modifications to engine, no modifications externally, and so quite a rare model. 240 bhp model. Lighter. It is the best I have seen of this model. I am open to sensible offers.
Only 800 right hand drive models produced, and it came in Milano red, phantom black, Avis/ bright silver and Mauritius blue. I used to own a silver one in 2009/ 10 and loved it but when my son was on the way we had to sell this two seater for a family-friendly option! I always wanted the blue variety. This was the rarest colour from what Audi have told me.
I have been monitoring these cars for the last 15 years, have viewed around 10 in that time to keep my interest. I viewed 3 in May/ June this year (2025) as I was going on garden leave from work for 6 months, and so this was the perfect opportunity to own one again. If I had a double garage I would keep this car, as a collectors item, but sadly I don’t.
I bought this with 59k miles on, previous owner was an old chap who had it in his garage since 2016 and only done around 1000 miles from 2015-2016. I have all their paperwork for any work done. I thought this was a great opportunity to buy one with little miles done. The dealer put it through its MOT (due Feb 26) and serviced, with new front discs and pads.
I recreated a road trip to the Pyrenees in it in late July this year, and the car was faultless. It is now on 63k mileage.
I have had all the blue bodywork touched up where needed, and the whole of the rear bumper professionally re-sprayed as this was scuffed, the exhaust tips are re-sprayed, all alloys professionally refurbished and not a mark on them. I have also sourced an original ‘TT’ badge with red outline for the rear bumper as the original was faded. Externally it is in excellent condition.
As I said, this has no modifications like some I have seen and some for sale, for example black alloys, tuned engine. There are a few scratches on the roof (no idea how these got on here) and this is the only cosmetic work that needs doing in my opinion, but I’d rather the new owner take care of this.
Inside I have done very little, just sourced the original parcel shelf, installed a new Kenwood Bluetooth stereo (I have the original Audi stereo), with quad lock docking station. It is in excellent condition inside with leather comfort seats in great condition, original alcantra steering wheel and gear knob, Bose stereo. All lights work.
This model came with either Recaro pole position seats or comfort seats which are still snug, but also heated. This car has the comfort seats. I test drove two models with the pole position seats and for me (at now 46) I prefer more comfort nowadays. I have tried to source the blue backed recaro’s but no joy.
In my ownership I have had the above works done. Only other work was getting two new tyres, Goodyear eagle f1, which are now on the rear. I have also had an ignition coil fitted and brake light electrics diagnosed/ serviced. I can provide all receipts and for those that were provided to me. £1500 spent since June.
Having viewed many of these I believe the 63k mileage is relatively low and it runs lovely.
With a little bit more love and only a small amount of money spent on the roof scratches, this would be almost mint condition.
Please get in touch with any questions or to arrange a viewing. Thanks Mark
