For sale is my cherished low mileage (79k) Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 COUNTY Pickup Truck (2004/ 54) in stunnng Java Black. The landy has tremendous character being admired wherever it goes. The paint is in an excellent condition for its age holding a fantastic gloss and shine. There are some general minor defender related marks and dints, but nothing particularly noteworthy for the age. The body of this defender is fantastic - it really does look as good as the pictures show.
The 90 is mechanically fantastic, it starts first time / every time and drives extremely well performing as it should. Motorway cruising and around town driving is effortless. The drivetrain is all very healthy. All electrics / audio systems / alarm function correctly as expected. The Defender hosts a number of County / factory upgraded specification extras, such as electric windows, remote central locking (with Alarm / Immobilizer).
The interior benefits from a complete and matching original Defender two seat configuration in Techno cloth alongside original cubby box (still retains factory labels from 2004!). All seats are in a wonderful condition and remain very clean, comfortable and supportive. The steering wheel, rubber matting and general switchgear are in great condition further complimenting the interior, all look and feel fantastic. In all cases the cabin and associated trims are in an excellent clean condition making it an exceptionally pleasant place to be.
The truck is highly original and comes complete with original jack / tool kit along with the original book packs. A comprehensive service history exists, with accompanying stamps within the service book (well into its second book) alongside a plethora of paperwork / history. There is also the original purchase invoice / original supplying documents from that date. The car still sports its original number plates from 2004 alongside original keyring to both keys. All clearly demonstrating the Defender has been maintained regardless of cost / requirements. This is a true testament with how it handles and drives.
The vehicle sailed through its recent MOT with no advisories. Rather remarkably the Defender has only ever had two minor trivial advisories throughout its life. The vehicle has only 1 former keeper and I promised I would take care of it much in the way they had done.
It recently underwent a service from a Land Rover specialist in which it sailed through in straightforward manner. The landy sports a set of 5x genuine Defender BOOST wheels shod with wonderful matching General Grabber AT3 all terrain tyres which make the drive fantastic (many miles of life remaining in the tyres). The Defender also comes complete with genuine side steps and rear step. A genuine Land Rover rubber load liner is fitted to protect the truck bed, all of which also remain in wonderful condition. A black canvas tonneau cover is fitted to further simply the look as well as protect the load area further (this can be rolled back as required).
The chassis, cross member, bulkhead etc are all structurally sound and in a very excellent solid condition. The chassis still retains a number of its original (albeit aged) markings / stickers from factory. Similar original manufacture stickers of components also present within the engine bay.
The Defender certainly wants for nothing except to be enjoyed!
