Service and Mechanical description
The car has a very good documented service history, an excellent driving car, excellent engine with no noises and does not smoke, starts on turn of the key.
Gearbox is smooth with no noises and power steering, the clutch has not covered many miles.
Electric windows & mirrors central locking all work, Air-conditioning & Radio CD player all work as they should.
With NO warning lights on
Spare wheel and Jack are in the back.
She is extremely flexible and not sluggish accelerates with ease and has a good cruising speed, very economical and achieves easily the fuel consumption stated and more if the fuel is good and driven properly
COACHWORK
The good and the bad points
The bodywork is rust free apart from the light surface rust on the scrapes which you can see in the pictures along with the damaged plastic front bumper.
There is no rust to the underside of the car or in the spare wheel well which is dry, nor any under the bonnet or in the doors, apart from the superficial light damage you can see the car is very straight and still fresh looking.
Interior and boot
The interior cabin is in fine condition having no rips or tears in the cloth interior, the carpets are all in good condition with no worn patches, the headlining is clean and unmarked as are the door cards, the boot is in good order no rips or wear.
All the controls and steering wheel are in excellent condition and all the plastics surfaces are unmarked, a non smokers car, the interior is above average and in excellent condition throughout
The interior needs a light clean as it is dusty as it's been an extra standby car for a few years and hardly used. This is an excellent reliable driving car with a good service history, it has the ultra reliable Isuzu 1686cc Diesel engine with amazing economy.
I purchased the car from Crown Honda Bushey Heath in 2018 they had taken it in part exchange and sold the previous owner a new car, I had the car from 2018 and in 2021 my son took it on he unfortunately whilst using it put the scrape on the rear wing and someone did the small dent on the drivers front wing when parked in the road, and when he got a new vehicle we kept it for a spare car as it is such a good car.
The car comes with the V5 in our name
MOT expires on the 2nd of March 2026, it has the original service pack with the service book and booklets along with service receipts and various past MOT'S,
and the HPi certificate that was supplied from Crown Honda in 2018 when purchased

The reason for the sale the car has not been used for the last couple of years apart from getting the MOT carried out and being there incase needed.
But unfortunately on the way back from the last MOT, I was driving through the industrial estate and went over a iron pole that fell off of a lorry which came up and caused the spoiler damage and also did damage to some parts under the bonnet when it went through, the car still drives perfectly well, after this I have not used it apart from starting her up and a run around the block, but needs to be repaired, I shall list the parts out below, after market parts can be purchased or secondhand parts which are considerably cheaper than Honda parts, I have the Honda part numbers to cross reference the after market parts or getting the correct Honda second hand ones, I have a lot on at present as my wife has a serious illness and I do not have the time to sauce the parts or incline to get the car repaired.
Also the other option for this great car is as the body shell is rust free it would be ideal for someone who needs to re shell a Type R that is either rotten or damaged, or if someone wants to make a look alike Type R would be perfect for that

The car has not been to garage to confirm intercooler is needed, the car is driving well but looking at where the pole went through I assume that the intercooler maybe damaged, saying it incase it is
This Civic has been a great car, and is still crisp inside with an excellent rot free body, and apart from the minor graze on the rear nearside wing and minimal small dent on the front offside wing, it is 100% reliable and very economical.
