For sale is my lovely Jaguar xk8 in which I have owned for around 6 months now, and I absolutely love it. It has taken it on trips everywhere I go but I have too many cars and fancy another one, so sadly one has to go.
It has a smooth 4. 0 v8 x100 engine, being the 2002 model it does not have the bore wear issues the previous engines commonly had.
It currently has 96, 000ish miles but will go up as it’s used most days, MOT until mid December, has lots of history including services and maintenance work, plus some rust repair work in the past so it should be good for years to come.
I’m no expert but I’d say it’s very good condition for the age both inside and out, it has a few marks and scuffs but overall it’s very presentable.
The few bits that aren’t so great:
Occasionally there’s a bit of a misfire when using full acceleration. I’ve had it scanned at a garage and there was no fault codes so it’s something that hasn’t affected me as it’s only when using full acceleration, and it happens randomly. Also the key fobs don’t lock/ unlock the car, but the keys themselves work fine. This could just be a battery in the fob as they are 20+ years old now.
