Up for sale now is our Goldie. A manual 740 GLE in Gold with beige interior.
We purchased this car as a breaker car from a genuine antiques dealer who’d tried to run the poor thing into the ground. We didn’t want to see a gold old Volvo end up as bits, or worse still a banger, so we decided to get it back on the road.
Having been used as a workhorse for 20 years the car is not perfect, and has various antique dealer related marks, but the car has plenty of life left in it. Engine and gearbox are strong, it’s been a pleasure to drive round in.
I’d expect this car to either be further improved upon and turn it into a really nice car, or slam it and drift it What’s not to love about an old gold volvo?
