Description
Piaggio Ciao in original unrestored condition. An early version, model number C9V1T. First registered 21/ 08/ 1969. Two previous keepers, with V5C in my name. I purchased the bike in April 2017. Fitted with sprung front forks, 19” rims, and variator speed governor. The bike has been refreshed with new Continental Moped tyres and new tubes, new drive belt, condenser, barrel and piston, main bearings, crank seal and gaskets. Lights and horn are in working order. Bike starts easily and runs well. The bike is solid, although it does show signs of age with surface rust on the frame and the chrome is poor. Comes with the original Piaggio operation and maintenance manual, Douglas (Sales and Service) Ltd guarantee and log book (blank with no details completed), and some documents from the previous owner. Currently taxed as not classed as Historic, but this can be updated at change of ownership. Collection from Bristol. Open to any fair offer.
