Description
Nearly twenty years old , Discovery L319 so Mk3
& 7 seater, None sunroof model so less chance of leaking. It has a few issues such as the three amigos on dash.
I have a new dash to go with if necessary, along with five extra alloys, front grill and bug deflector if not sold beforehand.(Part worn tyres with)
It has NEW MOT NOW till December 2026-
Still few niggles (ITS A LR3!!) It is waiting for the programing of the Ride Control Unit- (chap on hols!!) It has had a new battery and it has a new air suspension pump fitted. It does start and drive - NOW -New front air suspension bags fitted- Usual wear and tear- for miles- But I bought to do up as I have had major surgery and health issues. Driver seat squab requires a re-sew or patch- all cloth trim. Clunk door stay strap has been replaced also.
Its also registered before the March cut off tax date so its the £430 Road Fund bracket for the year (rather than 760)- If that bothers you.
I've put the original 18 inch alloys back on and think it would benefit from a stereo upgrade etc.
I really am seeking a Camper or van, (last one blew up-see The Camper that never was on you tube) Now so hence tickling the sales market- Chap that I bought it from had it previous five years and was into classics- 4 owners on log book- I've owned since mid 2025. ALTHOUGH i WAS INTENTIONALLY BIDDING ON A mK 1 THAT i HAD ACTUALLY BUILT at Solihull in the Nineties- it went telephone numbers!- I ended up with this Discovery 3 chunky silver beast. I know that there are followers, fans and haters of these L319- and that's why the listed price will be negotiable - and I like people to haggle.
I don't think it would take much to make really good again and I have seen these with over 250 k miles still going.- Further questions ask- or seek my You Tube channel.
