Extensive underside restoration completed in the summer of 2025 this car has had it all and wants for nothing meticulously rebuilt and future proofed to preserve it attention to detail completed to produce a cherished example of a 1997 legend with an OEM+ finish.
I bought the car from a Japcar collector where it had been taken off the road and dry stored with minimal usage as you can see from the MOT history it has only done 5k miles since 2011 and only minimal maintenance/ Mot miles had been put on it before it got put back into storage. Just Before i bought it when it came out of storage and put back on the road it had a new genuine Honda cambelt valve clearances checked new alternator new battery and new aux belt all documented.
When I got it I then invested into it by future proofing it with an underside/ suspension overhaul.
The restoration company started by stripping the all the suspension components and underside of the car down with a full inspection of any areas that needed attention floorpan/ sills/ inner arches chassis rails ect
Then fitting all new wishbones/ bottom arms/ top arms bushes/ droplinks / new steering rack with the original Rear radius arms/ anti roll bars front and rear/ gear linkages/ shocks/ disc guards, along with many other parts taken off sandblasted and all repainted gloss black with all new bushes fitted
All 4 calipers rebuilt and also painted gloss black.
Any surface rust underneath was removed taken back and undersealed properly with textured undeseal all the sills are perfect all the inner arches inspected treated and painted too.
All 4 of the original VTI Fanblade wheels also refurbished and painted and fitted with brand new Toyo Proxies T1R’s

Tegiwa Carbon Kevlar whale penis induction kit (the best sounding for a B16)

M2 Motorsport metallic cherry red strut bar (mounts to the top shocks for increased rigidity)
Japspeed 4-2-1 stainless steel manifold with all new studs/ bolts
Super street Spoon N1 rep backbox
B16 rocker cover also refurbished in wrinkle red with the camshaft cover cut out to show the gold cam pulleys for the more aggressive look

The car is immaculate and the paintwork is unreal it has been Professionally fully machine polished and protected with 2 year Ceramic coating. The interior is very good condition with no bolster wear on the seats no wear on the steering wheel and all interior electronics work as they should electric windows/ electric mirrors/ electric sunroof/ original Honda cassette player (with Genuine Honda 6 disc CD changer in the boot) spare VTI Fanblade wheel and original Honda toolkit/ wheel jack in the boot
You will not find a civic as clean as this for sale. B16 engine roars and pulls hard as it should all through the rev range, gearbox is silky smooth, no knocks or bangs as everything suspension wise is new.
Car is ready for its new home as a cherished piece of motoring history, I am in no rush to sell it and will ignore silly offers and time wasters.
