In March 2020, Morgan unveiled the Plus Four, succeeding the Plus 4 models. It retains its classic design, but now comes with power steering, a stiffer aluminium chassis, improved suspension and, above all, a BMW-sourced 2. 0-litre 4-cylinder bi-turbo engine producing 255 hp, paired in our case with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Built at Malvern towards the end of 2020, our example is finished in an elegant specification, with plenty of options. Its British Racing Green paint is matched with a Bordeaux-coloured interior. It shows just 10, 800 km on the odometer.
Inside, the trim is complemented by a dashboard panel and a walnut-veneer centre console, along with woven Bordeaux carpets (Box Weave Oatmeal). It features a new-generation steering wheel with a black finish and steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles. The seats are equipped with the Confort Plus pack, allowing you to recline the backrest and adjust lumbar support. Leather trim for the backrests, air conditioning, central locking and a Bluetooth audio system round out the specification.
Out on the road, our Morgan is now protected with a transparent film on the front end, the sills and the rear wings. It rides on chrome-spoke wheels with an additional spare wheel, a two-tier luggage rack, Union Jack flags, long-range Cibié headlamps, a chrome grille with a black honeycomb inner section, orange indicator lamps and more.
The car has just had its service work and is in perfect condition, with nothing else required.
