Description
This splendid Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300 from 1960 is an example in PRESERVED condition of one of the post-war Italian coupes most iconic.
The car we offer is part of the second series, delivered new in Italy and first registered in 1960 in Milan and subsequently in Bergamo in 1962, where it spent most of its life with the second owner, who preserved it over the decades.
Refinished in White IBIS since 1990 (replacing the original Azzurro Iseo), it retains the interior in its original mixed scheme of grey/ blue fabric and leather and the three-spoke Bakelite steering wheel.
Mechanically, the Giulietta is running, the 1. 3-litre inline-four engine, the twin-carburettor Solex and the 4-speed manual gearbox show no problems.
The car does not look brand-new, but it drives with the lively spirit that made the Giulietta one of the favourites among enthusiasts of its era.
A rare opportunity to buy a Giulietta Sprint with only 2 owners and original period plates that make it appealing to both vintage lovers and as an excellent starting base for a complete restoration, which we would be happy to handle together with the future owner.
Furthermore we bought this car for its iconic lines and extremely racer-leaning temperament, so we have a thousand ideas in mind... We won’t hide that we are "The world's style" ... Therefore, if no one brings it home very soon at the start of the year, a Restomod project is already ready in the drawer...!!!!
