July 1957 Ford Thunderbird in Starmist Blue with a colonial white hardtop. Dresden Blue and Starmist Blue factory interior. 312 / 245 Y block V8 , power steering, brakes and windows . Dial-O-Matic power seats, factory Blue carpet . A full history car . Purchased by previous stateside owner in 1968. Purchased new in Hibbing Minnesota. Fordomatic Transmission. (Rebuilt) she received restoration work in 1971 , pretty much everything then . A UK car since 2019 , new rear suspension and many other small jobs . Vacuum wipers work correctly.

Many thanks for your interest. Thunderbird's are fun and have good adaptability with adjustable steering column and Dial-O-Matic power seats on this example. They offer good driving dynamics for their times. The boot is very large compared to a Mustang which is about the same size of vehicle. They were a quality product when new. 1957 saw 21380 examples built. They have a very good survival rate. The engine firing order is the same as a Flathead V8 , hence the very unique V8 rumble! They can take three at a pinch on the bench seat . All in all they are a fine Ford !
