My R1 which I bought in 2016 when I bought myself some retirement presents. It’s I nice example in very good condition and has a strong smoke free motor with only 26k on it. I checked the valve clearances when I bought it as they are due a check at this mileage, from memory, I adjusted 3, which isn’t bad out of 20.
Everything works, including the EXUP valve and a have the original silencer if you wanted to go full on standard. Talking of standard, check out the original and unmolested rear guard! A thing of beauty and rarity.
So, there you go, a very clean, unmolested 4XV with a super strong motor ready for its next owner. Bike located in Tighnabruaich, Scotland.
