Based on known production data and surviving records, this unit is regarded as one of the earliest Clark Airborne CA-1 produced, and is believed to be the oldest known surviving example to date.

This model type is historically associated with Allied airborne engineering units of WWII, including operations conducted during the Normandy campaign. This vehicle was acquired more than 20 years ago to become part of a major military vehicle collection, with the purpose of preserving and perpetuating the historical legacy of this remarkable machine.
