Never been restored in excellent condition only original once, drives and runs very well.
Mot and tax exempt due to age, BUT I HAVE JUST HAD HER MOTED, please go on gov check mot to look at the few advisories, not much and nothing that would need doing now.
She has had a full engine rebuild at a garage in 1995, to include a re bore to 1725 cc new pistons and other parts as required at a cost of £600. Only done 48, 000 miles since then in the last 30 years.
I have invoices and all paper mot certs to prove.
She also had a total re chrome in 2004 at a cost of £370 which still looks great.
Gearbox refurbished around 2007 at over £700.
New stainless steel exhaust fitted 2000 at a cost of £284, with a lifetime guarantee.
All other bits like radiator, propshaft, and 2 clutch’s have been done when required
I have 2 very large In depth folders of parts purchased and servicing done throughout her history, and the original service manual, owners handbook etc, even the old starting handle not that you need that but it’s there
Mileage total is 163, 000 but has had a complete full engine rebuild and rebore done at 115000 so not done a lot since then. This car is very original, looks fantastic in the 2 tone green, there’s not many of these left around especially in this unrestored condition, admired wherever she goes, being a Rootes car if the need arises parts are still readily available.
I have added some photos of the 3 very small areas of bubbling under the paintwork all less than 5 p size.
I have also looked at the bonnet which when in the closed position is bouncing back up by about 7 mm I have included a picture with a coin next to it, it shuts fine and is working fine off the bonnet release handle, maybe a slight adjustment of catch or spring?
