The exterior is in very good condition. The paint work has a beautiful finish and it’s complemented with stage 2 polish and ceramic coating. There are two small stone chips on the front - one on the bumper and the other on the bonnet. The rear tailgate edge has a minuscule chip where paint was chipped but has been filled in. I’d honestly say the car is in v good condition considering its age and low mileage.
The interior is in very good condition. The leather has been regularly cleaned and treated to maintain its suppleness, and remains in excellent shape. The Alcantara surrounding the instrument cluster is faultless, as is the headlining. The only point to note is a very small chip on the left-hand central air vent trim, which is barely noticeable.
Mechanically the car shows in great shape - the brakes are almost new, the clutch was replaced in 2025, the exhaust cats were upgraded too in 2025, the lovely V8 was serviced less than 1k miles ago and is purring away beautifully. The Pirelli tyres have around 40% life.
Stratstone Edition:
The 2015 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Stratstone Edition is an ultra-rare, dealer-commissioned special run limited to just 16 examples, created exclusively for Stratstone Aston Martin and specified through the brand’s bespoke Q division. Based on the V8 Vantage N430, it features the 4. 7-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing around 430 bhp, paired with a seven-speed Sportshift II transmission, and benefits from the N430’s lighter, more focused chassis setup. What sets the Stratstone Edition apart is its unique visual and interior specification, including bespoke exterior paint finish in Storm Black II , carbon fibre mirror caps and side strakes, satin black 19-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers, and a distinctive interior combining black leather with red contrast detailing, quarter size diamond quilting, carbon fibre trim, 700w Aston Martin Premium audio with prolific surround sound, and numbered sill plaques denoting its limited-production status. The result is a highly collectable, factory-sanctioned special edition that blends the purity of the naturally aspirated V8 Vantage with subtle, bespoke enhancements and genuine rarity.
N430:
The V8 Vantage N430 represents one of the most focused and characterful iterations of the naturally aspirated Vantage, created by Aston Martin as a bridge between road car and motorsport DNA. Introduced in 2014, the N430 takes its name and inspiration from the Nürburgring and builds on the Vantage S and earlier N400/ N420 models, pairing the 4. 7-litre naturally aspirated V8—producing around 430 bhp—with a seven-speed Sportshift II transmission. It features a more aggressive and lightweight specification, including carbon fibre exterior elements, darkened trim, unique 19-inch wheels, uprated suspension tuning, and a freer-flowing exhaust, all aimed at sharpening driver engagement rather than outright numbers. Inside, the N430 continues the theme with lightweight sports seats, Alcantara and leather trim, contrast stitching, and a stripped-back, performance-led feel. Widely regarded as one of the best-balanced modern Astons, the N430 captures the peak of the Gaydon-era Vantage: compact, analogue, and unapologetically driver-focused, just before turbocharging and larger platforms became the norm.
The vehicle was subject to a Category insurance loss in 2021, with damage confined to the upper front area. Importantly, there was no impact to the engine or any structural components; the damage was limited to the upper sections, including the bumper, bonnet, wings, and windscreen.
Following the repairs, a comprehensive independent inspection was commissioned with Bamford Rose (documentation available in the photos) to assess the quality and standard of the work carried out. The findings were very positive, and the report is available to prospective purchasers for complete transparency.
I have full confidence in the car, with all replacement components being genuine Aston Martin parts, including a new radiator. The overall paint finish is of an excellent standard. The only minor observation is that the bonnet and front wings could benefit from slight adjustment to achieve optimal panel alignment
