I've bought another car so it needs a new home!
Here's our lovely condition Saab 9-3 convertible. It's the 1. 9 tdi 6 speed manual variant with 150bhp.
We've owned it for 10 years as a third car for summer use only and as a result doesn't get used enough. 3 previous owners.
It's been kept dry in our barn/ garage for the last 10 years with a trickle charger keeping the battery within operational range, and has no signs of rust. The roof is super clean and in perfect working order and operates up to 20mph should it be required! The car comes with FSH and has MOT until September 16th. Also has 2 keys.
In our ownership we've replaced
the exhaust (still looks new) and put a new alternator on it, and kept up the service maintenance. Two new rear tyres were put on recently in preparation of the warmer months. Cambelt changed at 72k
Economocally it's very good at around 45-50 mpg depending on driving conditions, however, not ULEZ friendly!
In a nutshell, it starts, drives and stops well, with or without roof open!
Like any 20 year old car there's a couple of things we never got around to fixing as it was so rarely used. The front seats take a bit of fiddling to allow passengers into the back (a very common Saab issue) and there's a light scratch on the front bumper and the rear boot aerial rubber is worn.
