LANCIA FULVIA COUPE’ 1, 3 S 2^ SERIE 1971
Ordered on 30 June 1971, as per the original contract copy, and registered on 12 August 1971, chassis 015794 in Grigio Escoli with a black faux leather interior, the Fulvia Coupé 1. 3 S Series 2 we present was sold by the historic Lancia dealership Ranieri Secondo, of Rimini, to an elegant and dynamic 48-year-old of German origin, but resident in Rimini since the 1950s, said to be the daughter of a Vatican cantiniere, who, changing three residences, always remained in Rimini with her Fulvia. In 2010, at 87, before passing away, the Lady therefore sold it, with original plates and documents, to a “collector of Sant’Arcangelo,” her lovely Fulvia. The new owner did not use it and the periodic inspection was carried out in 2013, rather than in 2012, simply because it had been sold to a friend who had fallen in love with it. But once again, the person’s commitments led to no use and the 2015 inspection was skipped; it was carried out in 2016 when the original collector repurchased it. It was not used until January 2023 at 103, 480 km, when, following the collector’s death, it was inherited and therefore the inspection was carried out. Thus this car, which had averaged about 3, 000 km per year, was subsequently acquired by us. Sound, but showing signs of age and of limited recent use, a conservative restoration was considered to enhance and safeguard the history of this vehicle. It has therefore been repainted with the restoration of the original wheels, tyres replaced, and new carpet mats laid over. The mechanicals received a traditional service, with radiator and alternator overhaul, exhaust system replacement, correct windscreen wiper blades installed, and a practical battery disconnect switch added. The result can be seen in the photos and assessed at our Lancia branch where it is displayed. The car is available for sale, not a clearance, at a significant price but below the actual cost paid, for a Lancia enthusiast who appreciates the object and its history and wishes to carry on this beautiful 55-year-old car.
