Mercedes-Benz 500 SL (1983) – Rare 2-Tone – Rust-free – Top Condition
For sale: a beautiful and exceptionally rare 1983 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL, finished in an original factory 2-tone paintwork: Astral Silber (735) combined with Graphitgrau (831). A highly elegant and rare colour combination that instantly sets this R107 apart.
History & condition:
This EU-delivered 500 SL was ordered new in Germany and later exported to California. Thanks to the dry Californian climate the car is completely rust-free — a major advantage for this R107. In 2013 the car returned to Europe, where it has since been carefully maintained.
The paintwork is in very nice condition (see photos) and the black leather interior is exceptionally tidy and original.

This 500 SL has been tastefully and correctly updated to the post-’85 look, including:
Original Mercedes-Benz front spoiler under the bumper
Original “manhole cover” wheels
All modifications carried out with genuine Mercedes parts, no reproductions. The result is a sportier, cleaner look that perfectly suits the powerful 500 SL.
