Description
FULL RESTORATION PROJECT: this 1963 NSU Prinz 4, was first sold to a Mrs Mary Winters, registered on March 20th 1963.
The car belonged in her possession as her daily-driver for 35 years, moving with her from Cheltenham to the Isle of Scilly, It has invoices and receipts to show she clearly cherished the car and cared for it.
Unfortunately when she sold the car (of which I have photographs of the day it sold and was loaded onto a ship leaving the Isle of Scilly) It went on to sit at a dock in Southampton for a very long time and degraded year after year, to the condition it's in now.
Despite it's condition it is a doable project, It has a completely 100% original and immaculate interior, it is only badly rusted on the surface, and the underside has stood the test of time a whole lot better, It has a replacement engine that's good to go, and all of the severely rusted panels (e. g the front boot lid, etc) can be replaced, you can find all the required parts on eBay, Facebook groups, NSU forums and an NSU parts site: - details above
