Rolling shell, minus engine and wiring loom. Does have V5 in my name. On SORN.
I bought this on a whim some time ago as a solid shell to renovate a GTi that may need reshelling, if I could find one, and make a good one out of two. Was thinking of having it painted in one of my two favourite colours of Oak Green or Royal Blue.
Other projects and lack of interest now means the idea probably won’t materialise and it’s just sat here.
Screen is cracked and will need some welding to chassis legs in engine bay area but all readily accessible to do. There’s rust perforation in OS rear quarter (see pic) but can be repaired as shell needs prepping for full paint anyway.
It’s good in all notorious mk2 golf areas such as fuel filler, sunroof and wiper blank.
There’s a couple of NS doors it will need but these are plentiful. Has the 16v bottle top alloys which seem in good condition with centre caps - tyres are no good.
Plenty of parts with it including dash, seats, etc.
