Description
Triumph tr3a 1960 in british racing green. this has been the subject of a chassis off rebuild since being imported from the USA . the chassis has been blasted and powdercoated, converted to rhd. shell taken back to bare metal so no rust!. the engine was rebuilt , converted to unleaded fuel and balanced by coventry engines they also rebuilt the gearbox. original 1/ 34inch su carbs have also been rebuilt. Suspension was all renewed along with fuel lines and brake lines. new fuel tank, wiring loom, high torque starter motor etc etc. quality carpet set, refurbished seats and mohair tonneau cover. The bonnet was hand louvred and the leather straps hand made. it has brooklands aero screens fitted but also comes with the original windscreen, side screens and hood frame. has a hood but could never get it to fit.! The fuel guage currently isnt working(altho worked when bench tested) and the speedo cable needs changing..(I might get around to doing it ) although it is a very pretty car and looks nice the paint could do with cutting back and polishing. It has a stainless exhaust system fitted the car looks and sounds lovely. it also comes with a few spare bits and bobs. I am the 1st registered owner in the UK and have the V5c in my name.. I have a huge amount of bills for the car and it has cost a lot more than the advertised price but being realistic in todays market. I might consider a px for something fast and loud or old and interesting.. located in S Wales UK.
