Description
1994 Mercedes E220 convertible 118, 000 miles 2 owners in the last 13 years I have owned this Mercedes since 2019. I did my research before buying this from a lady who had the car for 7 years. It had been well maintained and was in the right colours so I jumped at the chance to own it. Since I’ve owned the car I’ve covered just 5, 000 miles. It’s garaged, covered and only comes out in decent weather. I’ve always serviced the car with a local Mercedes specialist who has then carried out any work needed. This includes brake pads, discs, hoses all round only 1500 miles ago at a cost of over £1100. The car had a new battery in March as part of its MoT and passed with no advisories. The car doesn’t need anything mechanical and runs really well. The navy blue exterior, blue hood with cream interior to me is the best colour combination. It’s striking and I’ve never seen another one. The car is de badged on the boot making it look classic and elegant. I’ve always been told the e220 is the more desirable model due to running costs and maintenance. I’ve never had any issues with the car and only selling to have a change. The car is now 32 years old so does have the odd age related mark (see photo’s). It’s a real useable modern classic. Everything works as it should, no warning lights with nothing missing. There is a slight tear on the drivers seat side support and slight tear in the roof where it folds. This is just a surface tear and has not impacted on the integrity internally and is still watertight. Other than the odd stone chip and light expected mark the car is good to go. Drives well. Price reflects condition. 2x original keys, owners manual, books, service booklet all present. Good service history. See photo’s.
