A rare opportunity to own a genuine military Land Rover with documented history and a solid future ahead of it.
I bought this Series III back in 2018 as a restoration project and, over the years, have meticulously worked through it to get it to the standard it is in today. I have plenty of photographs documenting the restoration and showing the extent of the work that has gone into it. Since then, I’ve had a huge amount of fun with it – from local trips and shows to taking part in the annual Poole & Bournemouth Christmas Charity Land Rover Run, which I organise each year. Last year I even drove it up to London for the London Land Rover Meet and it didn’t skip a beat. It’s a genuinely capable old Land Rover, equally at home getting muddy off-road, cruising along the road or parked up at a show. After eight years of ownership and a lot of great memories, the time has now come to let her go, simply because I’ve recently bought one of the ex-military 300Tdi Land Rovers and can’t realistically justify keeping both. I’d really like to see her go to someone who will enjoy and use her as much as I have.
