1987 VW Transporter T3 (aka T25) Westfalia Joker pop-top campervan. Navy blue with white roof.
LHD. 18'' alloy wheels. 4-berth camper (rock' n' roll bed in cabin plus flip-over bed in roofspace). Gas cooker, 3-way fridge, and water tank (never used). LPG tank under vehicle. Eberspaecher diesel space heater. Leisure battery, 240V hook-up system and charger. Stereo.
1. 9TD (AAZ) engine, rebuilt in 2016 with new Vege head. 5-speed gearbox, recond 2017. New starter motor 2016. Recond injection pump and turbo 2017. Gearbox input shaft and bearing 2023. Front brake discs, pads and wheel bearings 2026.
Bodywork in good condition. Seams sealed and underseal applied in 2021. Bumpers repainted with new end-caps in 2026.
Next intended project was going to be to replace the tailgate (corroding internally) but the current one should be fine for a while longer.
Detailed service history for past 24 years of ownership available. MOT to Aug 2027.
Fiamma 2-bike rack fitted. Option to include Dometic drive-away awning (to be negotiated separately). Some camping accessories (eg: hook-up cable, thermal screens and wedges) also included if needed.

Maintained meticulously over my 24 years of ownership, with many key components renewed or refurbished and regular attention to bodywork. A full service history for every job has been maintained.
Drives very well for a vehicle of its vintage and the camping interior is still in good condition. Reluctant to sell (and will probably regret it), but space is a little tight now for a growing family and we aren’t getting the use out of it.
