Description
The Acoma Super Comtesse, launched in the mid-1970s, is the brand’s most famous model and one of the most unusual microcars in automotive history. It became known worldwide for its unusual four-wheel configuration: two front wheels for steering and two rear wheels for traction.
With a lightweight fibreglass body and a small two-stroke engine, the Super Comtesse reached speeds of around 35 to 40 km/ h. Its angular design, asymmetrical door layout and futuristic concept for its time make it a highly sought-after collector’s item and cult classic amongst enthusiasts of microcars and rare vehicles.
This car underwent restoration in early 2026 and is in very good condition, retaining as much of its original features as possible. It is fitted with a fully restored 4-speed Zundapp turbine engine. The car also has reverse gear, which is engaged by moving a lever in the differential.
It comes with all the necessary legal documentation.
