We are delighted to present this superb Fiat Barchetta « Riviera », a limited series as rare as desirable, here shown in a timeless and elegant configuration. Produced in limited numbers (2, 500 copies), the Riviera version is distinguished by its hood matched to its quilted leather seats and its typically Italian interior ambience.
Our example, registered late 2000, shows 93, 293 km on the clock. Second hand, it has been in the hands of the same owner since 2010, a careful enthusiast in her fifties who has always kept it sheltered and only driven in good weather. Entirely original, never restored but perfectly preserved, it presents a very beautiful patina. No filler, no signs of impact, a healthy chassis with no corrosion, preserved upholstery, a hood in very good condition.
Mechanically, it has just come from a major service (detailed above) and the technical inspection has just been passed, clean. Note that the driver’s door lock requires repair. At the wheel you notice the perfect balance between an eager engine and the most solid road manners. The turns and bends flow with a smooth, harmonious grace, like the movements of a well-choreographed dance. It’s a collectible cabriolet that can still be used daily, drawing naturally admiring glances.
