Description
Le Paddock is pleased to offer for sale this exceptional Porsche 996 GT3 Phase 1 (Mk1), prepared in the spirit of the famous Manthey Racing 400. This example is in very good overall condition and has had only two passionate owners since it first went on the road.
Introduced in 1999, the 996 GT3 Mk1 is the very first GT3 in the history of the 911, conceived as a true road-going derivative of the competition. Produced outside the standard assembly line, it is part of the Porsche Motorsport programme: developed in Weissach and hand-built in the Motorsport workshops of Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen (Germany).
It is powered by the iconic air‑cooled flat‑six Mezger 3. 6 L engine, originally designed for competition (heritage of the Porsche GT1 and GT programmes), renowned for its robustness, rev‑matching and mechanical authenticity.
Only around 1, 800 examples were produced of this first generation (including nearly 400 right‑hand drive), making it a rare GT3 — all the more so in this configuration, with this mileage and this small number of owners.

- Spaghetti headers (less than 2, 000 km — fitted in 2018/ 2019)
- Porsche Cup front brakes with floating discs

The paintwork is in good condition for its age and remains original, which the owner wished to preserve for authenticity.
Only the rear bumper has been repainted following a very light bump in a car park.
Why Le Paddock recommends this vehicle:
