Description
Since 1963, the date of creation of the 911 range, the 991 constitutes the seventh generation of the species. It was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011 and succeeds the 997. Its technical platform is entirely new, something that has only happened twice since the early 1960s.
Phase 2 appeared in Frankfurt in September 2015: the cosmetic modifications are minor as it is the engines that have been completely revised; they all benefit from a turbocharged engine in order to reduce consumption and pollutant emissions.
The facelifted versions of the 911 Turbo and Turbo S were unveiled in early December 2015. Both show 20 hp more than their predecessors, namely 540 and 580 hp. The Turbo S accelerates from 0 to 100 km/ h in 2. 9 seconds: the first time a 911 has achieved it in under 3 seconds… its top speed also increases, now reaching 330 km/ h.
It is indeed this exceptional version of the 991 that we are offering you today, the Turbo S achieving the difficult synthesis of ultra-high-performance coupé and GT comfort; This model was delivered new on 23 July 2018 at the Stuttgart Porsche Centre, as indicated by the maintenance book stamp. The car is equipped with nearly all of the catalogue options, we have the dealer-issued list available to the prospective buyer.
The book states that maintenance is carried out exclusively within the Porsche network, the last done on 13 February 2024, the next due on 11 February 2026 at the Porsche dealership in Limoges.
Esthetically the car is near flawless, it is equipped with four Michelin Cup semi-slick tyres which give incomparable grip on dry roads but require particular vigilance on wet roads. It may seem more sensible to fit four “standard” tyres for everyday use.
Thus it is a 991 in every sense, destined for discerning enthusiasts, in search of absolute power yet still usable almost every day…
