Due to a severe shortage of petrol, there were great opportunities for an engineer capable of devising a diesel tractor with limited resources, and this is exactly what the enterprising young engineer Ferruccio Lamborghini managed to do, developing an innovative fuel atomisation system for Morris commercial engines before developing his diesels.
The accumulated wealth would lead to the great Lamborghini sports cars that we all know and love today, and it is all thanks to the quality of Ferruccio's tractors.
