The Appeal
The Fiat 600D Multipla was one of the automotive world's earliest and most successful mono-space designs, pioneering the concept decades before the term "MPV" was coined. Designed by Dante Giacosa, this ingenious vehicle packed seating for up to six people into a footprint just 11 feet and 6.9 inches long, and in the process created an absolute miracle for the small commercial networks and families of Europe. It was cute, it was cheap and it was economic - just the ticket for a rapidly redeveloping continent.
This particular example has been comprehensively restored to bare shell by marque specialists Weenie Fiats of Swindon in 2015, and presents in a two-tone Pistachio and Terracotta colour scheme. Having been carefully stored in a secure dry garage in the South of France under a dust cover since its restoration, this charming Multipla offers an opportunity to acquire a particularly fine example of Fiat's innovative people carrier.
