The Appeal
Sporty, elegant and decidedly "continental", the 101 series is rightly revered as one of the most essential Italian lineages. Among the 101 series Coupés, the Giulia Sprint, Bertone’s signatory, is a rare beauty and its 1.6-litre twin-cam four-cylinder makes it one of the most dynamic and enjoyable to drive.
This 1965 example is likely among the last Sprint 1600s produced. It has been in its devoted owner’s hands since 1990. Bought non-starting, it was fully restored at that time and has since been stored in a heated garage and maintained entirely by its owner. More recent mechanical care has included renewing the differential and engine seals, new front and rear bushings and ball joints, and near-new dampers.
We are convinced this evocative and appealing “classic” will do well at auction. image.png1.64 MB
