The Appeal

Volkswagen Beetles have always offered a fantastic prospect for modification and kit cars, and work particularly well for beach buggies and dune-crossing off-roaders. This particular example is a fine one - the shell was brand new, the fifth off the production line, and using a 1968 example - which sat around 77,700 miles - came together to make a simply excellent dune buggy.

The result is a buggy made to a high standard covering only 10 miles since assembly. The car is painted in a metallic purple, and features a custom-made heavy-duty roll cage. The car is equipped with a Bluetooth amplifier for music, and the flooring is made of coconut matting. It's an enviable spec - and should prove very popular.
